Exciting Facility Upgrades!

We are thrilled to share some fantastic upgrades to our school facilities! Seven new air conditioners have been installed, ensuring comfortable learning spaces year-round. Our outdoor areas are looking vibrant with colourful new line markings, creating engaging play and learning spaces. Additionally, we have increased maintenance to the oval and garden spaces, keeping them inviting and well-maintained for all students to enjoy.

We would love to continue enhancing our school’s facilities and future upgrades. Your support through parent contributions and fundraising helps us create the best possible learning environment for our students. Thank you for being part of these improvements!

Before and After School Supervision

Student safety is our priority, and we remind families of our duty of care arrangements before and after school. Supervision in the yard begins at 8:40 am; students should not arrive before this time unless accompanied by a parent or carer. After school, supervision concludes at 3:45 pm. A bell will ring at this time to signal that any remaining students who have not been collected must go to the office. Students who walk home independently must also leave the school grounds at this time.

In the event of inclement weather, students will not be required to line up outside their classrooms. Instead, a bell will sound at 8:40 am, signaling students to go directly to their classroom to meet their teacher.

We appreciate your support in ensuring a safe and well-supervised environment for all students.

Riding to School Safely

We encourage students to ride their bikes to school as a healthy and environmentally friendly transport option. However, safety is our top priority. All students must wear a helmet when riding to and from school to ensure their safety. Additionally, to prevent accidents, bikes must not be ridden on school grounds. Students are required to walk their bikes from the school gates to the bike shed upon arrival and do the same when leaving in the afternoon. Thank you for supporting these safety measures to help keep our school community safe.

Allied Health Support

Allied health professionals play an important role in supporting students' learning and wellbeing. These specialists, including speech pathologists, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, work collaboratively with families and educators to help children reach their full potential. If your child is receiving therapy, and you would like these sessions to occur on school grounds, a formal agreement must be established between the provider and the school. This agreement, approved by the principal and school council, ensures that therapy sessions align with Department of Education policies and the school’s operational needs.

If an allied health professional wishes to observe your child in the school setting, written permission must first be sought from your child’s teacher. Please email the request to the teacher, copying in the principal and assistant principal for approval. On the day of the visit, all allied health professionals must sign in at the office before proceeding with their scheduled session or observation. This process ensures a smooth and coordinated approach to supporting students while maintaining the safety and integrity of the school environment.
