St Patrick's Mass

Last Friday some of the year sixes went on a trip to St Patrick’s church. The train ride was very funny! The second we got to the church I was shocked, it was very beautiful, the church had lots of small details, extremely high ceilings and very detailed stained glass windows. At the start, 2 people played bagpipes while school captains from every catholic school walked in a line with their school banner. The prayers, singing and blessings were very beautiful and easy to understand. overall I think we all had an amazing time.  Summer

First we got the public bus to the train to go to the city. We sat through a long church for 2 hours and then we went to 7/11 to get slushies. It was my second time having one and then we got ice creams and went home.   James

Our train home was cancelled, so we had to catch a later train. When we got to lilydale we had to wait 40 minutes for the next bus so we got ice cream.    Matilda

Saint Joseph's Day

Last week, we celebrated Saint Joseph! A man of few words but had a caring and loving nature! As a school, we created a collaborative art piece to showcase the tools God gave Joseph and how we can use them in our lives. These are the qualities of Kindness, Care, Love, Honesty and much more!

We also celebrated with a shared lunch!
