Update on South Australia LC Championships

A team of 18 RSC swimmers, 4 Team Managers and Head Coach Andrew flew off to Adelaide on Wednesday afternoon to take part in the South Australia Long Course Age Championships from March 6 - 10th. 

 

Yesterday kicked off day one of racing and RSC wasted no time getting down to business! Fifteen RSC swimmers qualified for finals with 5 making it onto the podium. Congratulations to Meike Chow (Silver in 200m Breast), Liam Joy (Bronze in 100m Fly), Thomas O'Toole (gold in 1500m freestyle), Thomas Poppins (Silver in 200m Breast) and Jayden Zheng (Bronze in 200m Breast). 

 

Also a big shout out to Meike Chow for getting a 13yo girls national qualifying time in the 200m Breast and to Thomas O'Toole for getting a 14yo boys national qualifying time in the 1500m Free as well as breaking the Victorian 13yo boys record! Amazing accomplishments on day 1! More to come on these achievements in next week's update!
