Wellbeing

At Camelot Rise Primary School, we believe that a positive and supportive environment helps every child thrive. Our core values—Respect, Responsibility, and Resilience—are at the heart of everything we do.

To bring these values to life, we use a Positive Behaviour Expectations Matrix. This helps students understand what respect, responsibility, and resilience look, sound, and feel like in different areas of the school. The matrix is displayed in classrooms and around the school, and we regularly discuss it with students to reinforce positive behaviour.

By working together—students, teachers, and families—we can create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment for all!

G.E.M Awards

We are excited to introduce the G.E.M. Awards – a new initiative to recognise and celebrate acts of Gratitude, Empathy, and Mindfulness within our school community, starting in Term 2.

The G.E.M. Awards aim to acknowledge students who demonstrate kindness, thoughtfulness, and a positive attitude in their daily interactions. Whether it's a student showing empathy towards a peer, practising mindfulness in the classroom, or expressing gratitude towards others, we want to highlight and encourage these qualities.

Each fortnight, one student will be selected for each award.  The Wellbeing Captains will present the awards during assembly, and the recipients will be acknowledged in the newsletter.
