Today our staff spent time fine tuning our School Writing Program. This professional learning session was led by Julie Shepherd. Thank you Julie!

It was an extremely rewarding with lots of learning shared with our highly capable staff.

Chess Club concentration!

The library is a buzz on Wednesday lunchtimes since Mr Coney and Mr Heys started Chess Club. It is fun and also very competitive!!!!

Level 1/2 celebrate Shrove Tuesday

Level1/2 students made pancakes in class to celebrate Shrove Tuesday.

Pancake Day or Shrove Tuesday is actually a Christian Festival.

It always falls on the Tuesday before the beginning of Lent.

During Lent, some people give up things like chocolate and sweets.

Pancake Day marks the last day they can eat these things before Lent starts.
