Principal's Report

Dear Families,

TATURA ATHLETICS

Students from Grade 3 to 6 travelled to Tatura last Monday to compete in the athletics sport’s day against Tatura P. S. and Sacred Heart. Once again, we had perfect weather for the event. All the effort put into preparing the students for the events by Jacqui Evans and Mr Tarrant paid off, as Toolamba was the winning school on the day.  We were extremely proud of the sportsmanship displayed on the day and the way students encouraged each other. Congratulations to the champions on the day and to those students who broke records. 

SCHOOL COUNCIL

Our last meeting for the term is on Monday night at 6.30pm. Finance will commence at be at 6pm. 

AFL FOOTY COLOURS DAY

Next Tuesday we will have an AFL Footy Colours Day. Students are asked to come dressed as their favourite AFL/sport team. During the morning session students will participate in an AFL clinic. In the afternoon they will be placed in multiage groups and rotate around activities planned and lead by our Sport Leadership Members. 

Orders for pies, party pies and sausage rolls can be made via Qkr! Final orders close tomorrow at 3:00pm.

DIVISION ATHLETICS 2025 

The 2025 Goulburn Murray Division Athletics Carnival will take place at McEwen Reserve Track and Field Complex, Shepparton, on Monday, 13 October.

Congratulations to the following students who have qualified for the next level in their individual events:

Boys: Flynn Eyles, Lenox Durward, Jake Jeffers, Declan Doller, Harry Woodman

Girls: Amelia Rice, Felicity Hodge, Arianna Varcoe, Olivia Body, Lily Tuhan

Further details will be emailed to parents of these students closer to the event.

PET PARADE

Our Student Engagement Group is organising a pet parade for Thursday 18th October. The parade will commence at 9am in the amphitheatre. Parents are then asked to take the pets home after the parade.

END OF TERM ASSEMBLY

Our final assembly for the term will be next Friday at 1.15pm.
