What an unforgettable night at the Year 1 dinner! The children were treated to an incredible magic show with the amazing Tim Credible. There were gasps of wonder and bursts of laughter as our young magicians helped create the magic.
Aekam magically put a coin in a can, Logan amazed everyone when a scarf appeared from his sleeve, and the children used their magic crayons to rub colour into a colouring book — and their magic erasers to make it disappear again!
We also met Douzie, a friendly, cheeky, and very musical dragon who loved to sing and cause mischief. The students were rolling on the floor with laughter!
After the show, we played games and enjoyed a delicious dinner together. It was a night full of fun, magic, and wonderful memories for our Year One students.
At Deer Park West Primary School, every Wednesday the school participates in Waste Free Wednesday. The students are encouraged to bring a lunch box with NO RUBBISH for both recess and lunch. This is a great way to reduce the amount of waste we create in order to make the earth healthier.
Please assist your child/children in doing this by taking items out of their packets before coming to school.
Thank you,
