Relieving Principal's Message

From the Desk of Liselle Abbott - Term 3, Week 10

Good afternoon, Parents/Carers,

As we head into our last week of Term 3, I would like to wish everyone a safe and relaxing break.  We look forward to seeing all of our students return in Term 4 on Tuesday, 14th October.

Behaviour Focus

Our behaviour focus for Week 10 is  Safe,

We are learning to:

  • Recognise and know what to do after bullying happens

What does it look and sound like:

  • Stay away and ignore
  • Don't hold a grudge - let it go
  • Follow the teacher's instructions
  • Move on
  • Don't react
  • Build resilience

Turn Up Awards

Congratulations to our Turn Up Award winners for Week 9.  You will receive a voucher to use at the school canteen.

Our winners were:

K/1B -        Latrell

2/3O -        Parker

Capers Rehearsals

I thought I would share with you a sneak peek into our first capers rehearsals held in Week 8 at the Sports Dome in Tamworth.  We are very proud of our school, and the effort students are making in getting involved.  We look forward to sharing more next term when rehearsals continue in the lead up to the big event.  Tickets for CAPERS are now available! Our students will be performing on the 7th and 8th of November. The best seating to watch our students perform is the left side of Side Tier T1 or the right side of Side Tier T3. We look forward to seeing you there!  The link to purchase tickets is: www.trecc.com.au/capers-2025

Kind regards
