Get Ready for The Hills Arts and Technology Exhibition 2023

Dear Wheelers Hill Community, 

Exciting times are upon us as we count down to the grand opening of The Hill Arts and Technology Show 2023! The energy is electrifying, and we're thrilled to give you a sneak peek into what's in store: 

Student Creations:  The hallways are abuzz with creativity! Our students are putting the finishing touches on their remarkable artworks and tech projects. Our art teachers are hard at work, ensuring every need is met, and the results promise to be spectacular. 

Diverse Mediums:  Throughout the past three terms, students have delved into a captivating range of art and tech mediums. Expect to be wowed by stunning drawings, paintings, ceramics, printmaking, product designs, robotics, and spheros – just a taste of the inspiring pieces waiting to be unveiled. 

Aboriginal Content Curriculums:  This year, we have something truly special in store. Our cross-curricular unit has brought together Art, English, and Mathematics, resulting in exciting and innovative outcomes that you won't want to miss. 

Art Competition:  It's not just students who get to showcase their talents! This year, we've opened up the art competition to our dedicated staff as well. We're excited to unearth hidden talents and celebrate the incredible creativity that thrives within our school community. Don't forget, the People's Choice and Staff Choice awards are back, and we'll be revealing the winners on our presentation evening in December. 

Grand Opening:  Mark your calendars for the night of October 19th at 6 PM. It's not just about the incredible art and tech – the opening night promises to be a spectacle of its own. The music department will serenade you, while some of our production and theatre studies props and sets will be on display. Our Year 11 food studies students and teachers will tantalize your taste buds with a delectable array of hors d'oeuvres. 

Awards Galore: We're currently reviewing numerous student arts and technology awards for presentation on that memorable night. 

So, please, make a note of the date: Thursday, October 19th at 6 PM – a night you won't want to miss. The Hill Arts and Technology Show 2023 is set to be a showcase of talent, creativity, and sheer brilliance.
