State School Hockey

Back in August Edenhope and Balmoral’s school hockey team went to Melbourne for the school state hockey finals. The students from both schools bussed up to Melbourne the day before the tournament to meet up with their coach Mr. Brennan who left Bogong camp early to coach the team. The night before was spent at a caravan park playing card games and watching movies whilst eating pizza. As the event came closer the nerves were high throughout the team, with the welcome speech and a warm-up complete, we were underway in our first game against Notre Dame College which ended in a draw. The second game against Hume Anglican College was a 5-1 loss. To finish the day we went out looking to have a fun game to end our time in Melbourne, but we unfortunately lost 2-0 to Parkdale Secondary College. The two days was enjoyed by everyone who played.
