Deputy Principal, Wellbeing

 - Miss Kristen Waldron

Welcome back!

It was lovely to welcome all our students back on Monday, and we've had a very positive start to the term. I want to thank the students who have returned, showing pride in their uniforms and their overall appearance.

However, I have noticed that a small number of students may need to make some adjustments in certain areas. We want to remind everyone about the importance of adhering to the dress code guidelines regarding dress length, hair and jewellery. These guidelines are in place to ensure a comfortable and respectful atmosphere for all students. I trust that you will take this weekend as an opportunity to make any necessary adjustments to ensure your adherence to these guidelines.

We celebrated the Winter Sports Assembly this week, recognising the commitment and dedication shown by students in hockey, netball, football, soccer, equine, basketball, clay target shooting and cross country. I would especially like to thank and congratulate our Year 12s; many have committed to these sports for six years and finished with due recognition.

As we know, being involved in sports offers so many benefits. It fosters a sense of camaraderie and teamwork, promoting friendships that can last a lifetime. Our College has so many opportunities, and students were encouraged to be involved in many different ways.

I hope Term Four is a memorable and successful one for you all. I would like to wish all our Year 12s all the very best for their final three weeks of formal secondary education.

NEW UNIFORM ITEM

Our uniform shop is now stocking new girls' sports shorts with built-in leggings. This short will provide a new level of comfort when playing sports.  Well done to the SRC for initiating and driving this change.

TERM 4 UNIFORM

There is a two-week uniform changeover for Term 4.  Students may begin Term 4 in either their summer or winter uniform. By Monday 16 October, all students must be in summer uniform.

Hats are to be worn from Day 1 of Term 4 – Monday 2nd October.
