Collingwood Children`s Farm -Foundation Excursion

On Wednesday, the Foundation students set off to Collingwood Children`s Farm after learning about farm animals. Students patted the goats and learnt that they are very sociable animals and eat hay and drink water.

We also learnt about the products that are made from goats milk (cheese and soap). Students also met some friendly guinea pigs, peacocks, geese, ducks, horses and sheep.

After lunch, the students planted peas that they brought home afterwards. The students discovered the essentials that plants need to grow and thrive (water, soil and sun). We had such a wonderful day and were very grateful for how well students participated in all activities.

What a great way to end Term Three!
