2024 Blazers

A reminder that as part of the whole school blazer transition, in 2024 Years 7 and 10 students will be required to have a blazer as part of their winter uniform (along with Years 5, 6, 11, and 12). This will impact upon current Years 6 and 9 students who will need to purchase a blazer for 2024. The College is working closely with Noone to organise blazer fittings for current Years 6 and 9 students in preparation for blazer ordering and delivery for early 2024. These fittings have been scheduled to occur this week. Year 6 students were fitted for blazers on Monday, and Year 9 students will be fitted for blazers at the uniform shop on Wednesday 13 September in Periods 1 and 2.

At the blazer fitting, students will be given a slip with their blazer size. Parents and guardians can pre-order the correct size blazer in-store or online now, or can pay upon collection next year. Current Year 6 and 9 parents will receive a 20% discount code for the purchase of the blazer as part of the transition process. This discount code will be emailed to parents prior to the beginning of Term 4.

Blazers for Year 11, 2024

A reminder that current Year 10 students will be required to have a blazer for Year 11 2024. To assist parents and guardians with this process, the College and Noone have organised for Year 10 students to be fitted for a blazer - the final fitting will be on Wednesday 13 September in Period 6. At the blazer fitting, students will be given a slip with their blazer size. Parents and guardians can pre-order the correct size blazer in-store or online now, or can pay upon collection next year.

Moving into 2024, the yellow trim on the blazer for Year 11 students will be compulsory. Current Year 10 students will only be able to purchase a blazer with yellow trim on the sleeves and pocket (in-store or online). This trim distinguishes the seniors from the junior and middle-year levels who now also wear blazers.

Yellow Trim Blazer Service for Senior Students

Noone will again offer a service for existing blazers to be sent away for trim and returned for January 2024. Current Year 11 students will be able to return their blazer to the Uniform Shop from Tuesday 10 October through to Friday 20 October for this service to occur. This trim is not compulsory for Year 12 in 2024 students; however, it is compulsory for Year 11 in 2024 students. Further details will be provided regarding returning blazers for braiding at the beginning of Term 4.

The College and Noone look forward to welcoming the new 2024 students to the College and assisting them with their first Marist College Ashgrove uniforms. For current parents and guardians, please note that the Uniform Shop may be busier during periods of new student fittings however Noone will ensure that extra staff are onsite during peak periods to assist all customers quickly.

College Formal Hat

The College Formal Hat is made of felt which is a natural product, requiring special care, particularly with respect to avoiding contact with water. To this end, the College will continue to advise students of alternative arrangements when rain is present and encourage students to store their formal hat appropriately in their bag or locker. The College Broad brim Hat remains available, and students are encouraged to wear this hat at break times.

Credit/Debit Card Storage Information

For security reasons, the Uniform Shop does not store credit/debit card details when purchases are made in-store or online. A credit/debit card is required for each individual purchase. This is a College supported Noone policy that protects parents' and guardians’ personal financial details. Parents and guardians may purchase items online with click-and-collect if they do not wish to give their son a credit/debit card.
