Foundation Community Helpers Incursions

This term we have had some community helpers come in to visit us to talk to them about their role in the community. 

We have had the local Fire Brigade come to teach us all about who to call in an emergency and what to do if there is a fire in our home. They will be returning this week for our Foundation students to have a go on the fire hose!

We also had Romy come in and talk to us about being a Child Life Therapist at the Royal Children’s Hospital. We learnt all about what it is like to go to the doctor or hospital.

This week we will have Policeman Tristan coming to visit us to talk to us about what a Police Officer’s role in the community is!
