Student Wellbeing

Term 1
Welcome to the 2026 school year!
We have had a smooth and positive start to the year across the school. Students are gradually settling back into school routines and are being supported to learn and practise new expectations. It has been wonderful to see students reconnecting with friends, forming new relationships, and demonstrating positive learning behaviours in ways that suit their individual needs.
If your child requires additional support to settle into the new school year, please contact their classroom teacher or the section Team Leader. We value open communication and working together to support every student’s wellbeing and learning.
2026 School Leaders!
We are excited to announce the Year 12 Leaders for 2026! We had so many strong candidates in the election process that we have extended the leadership roles for Year 12 students in 2026. Congratulations to the following students:
Matthew and Sam, School Captains
Catarina and Lucas, Vice-Captains
Ilana (Koorie Leader), Phoebe (The Arts Leader), Lachlan (Sports Leader) and Hasan (STEM Leader)
We look forward to their Leadership, promoting student voice and sharing their passion and dedication to 'be the best they can be'.
Supervision
I would also like to remind parents and carers that Concord School’s grounds are supervised by school staff from 8:45am until 9:00am. Bundoora campus offers an early drop-off at 8:30am in the Gym only, with students moving to the yard at 8:45am when staff are on duty. We encourage you to contact TheirCare for more information about the before and after school care facilities available to our school community if you need your child to be dropped off earlier than when supervision commences.
If your child arrives at school after 9:15am, they must be signed in at the office.
Our top priority is the safety of everyone around our school and thank you for your support with this.
