**Introducing Leesa Baker: Our School Wellbeing Officer**
We are thrilled to welcome Leesa Baker to our school community as our new School Wellbeing Officer. Leesa comes to us with a wealth of experience, having successfully served in similar roles at other schools.
Her background includes many years in Community Services and the health sector, where she has honed her skills in supporting individuals and families. Leesa is a qualified nurse and has also worked as a First Aid instructor.
In addition to her professional experience, Leesa is an active volunteer with the Rural Fire Service, demonstrating her commitment to community service and resilience in times of need.
Leesa lives on a family cattle and sheep property with her husband, and together they have five children and five grandchildren, with one more on the way! This familial bond enriches her understanding of the importance of community and support, which she brings to her role.
Currently, Leesa is getting to know the students and staff at Anson Street School. She is available on Mondays and Tuesdays and invites families to catch up for a chat.
We are excited to have Leesa on board to promote the wellbeing of our students and staff, and we look forward to the positive impact she will undoubtedly bring to our school community.
