MANGO FUNDRAISER
🥭🥭 It's that time of year ... the annual Mango Fundraiser is back! You can pick up a tray (or more!) of world-renowned Bowen (Kensington Pride) mangoes direct from the farm for $30, while supporting our school.
There is a very limited time this year to place orders - they close this Thursday, 31st October, at 1pm.
You might recall that tray sizes over recent years have varied, depending on weather conditions and expected crop yield. This year trays will be approx 7kg each (as they were in 2022), with between 12 - 20 mangoes per tray.
Mangoes will be ready for collection from school in early Dec - date to be confirmed via Compass.

CPS COLOUR RUN
Friday 22nd November!
This week students have received an invite to take part in the first ever CPS Colour Run on November 22nd, along with information about the event to pass on to parents and guardians. Fundraising is also now open via Qkr.
The Colour Run will be a super fun, non-competitive event where students complete a specially designed course around the school grounds while being showered with water and safe, non-toxic coloured powder. Students are encouraged to wear white to get as colourful as possible.
There is no entry fee and it is free for all students to participate. Students are encouraged to seek sponsorship to help raise funds to improve the school play spaces but fundraising is completely optional. The class that raises the most funds will get a special lunch put on by the PFA!
Students also received a hard-copy sponsorship form, along with FAQ information on the event itself and how to fundraise via Qkr. Digital copies are attached below.

BOOK CLUB IS BACK
After a decade or so hiatus, the Scholastic Book Club is back at CPS!
Hopefully your child has come home with a catalogue this week. If not, you can also view the catalogue here:
How to order:
Orders are placed via Scholastic’s Linked Online Ordering Platform (LOOP). You can register for a new account online and start ordering straight away.
When do orders close?
Orders for this issue (issue #7) close on Monday 4th November.
When & how will I get my books?
Your books will be delivered directly to CPS and sent home with your child. They should arrive at school a few weeks after orders close.
