Year 7

Troy McGown

This month in Year 7 we have been doing a lot of fun stuff!

School Sports

In Year 7 some people chose to do rollerskating at the Rollerskating Centre in Lilydale and it was a lot of fun for everyone participating. There are other sports to choose from such as invasion games court sports and futsal (indoor soccer).

Meanwhile, inter-school sport wise there has been a lot of success in the year level, with students gearing up for their chosen sports. The Basketball and Baseball teams have progressed well and are through to Regionals. Girls Volleyball have done well and have gotten themselves to Regionals as well. Sadly, no Year 7's are participating in State Athletics because we were eliminated at Regionals, but did exceptionally well getting as far as they did.

Epilepsy Awareness Day

Tuesday 15/10 was Epilepsy Awareness D  This day helps people to be aware of epilepsy. It is quite a common thing and can be quite fatal to people. All Year 7's were encouraged to wear a hint of purple to help spread awareness of this chronic brain condition.
