MOVEMBER

Raising Awareness for Mens Health

From humble beginnings, the MOvember movement has grown into a truly global one. They’ve made epic progress in men’s health, but every whisker of credit goes to our Mo Bros and Mo Sisters around the world.

Since 2003, Movember has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, shaking up men’s health research and transforming the way health services reach and support men.

Brighton Secondary College will be participating this Movember.

Hi everyone,

MOvember is rapidly approaching and once again I am putting a team of enthusiastic students to help raise funds for Men's health.

MOvember donates all funds to Cancer research, specifically Testicular and Prostate cancer, but it also raises awareness of suicide prevention in Men.

"But Sir, I cant grow a Mo?!". It doesn't matter! If you can, please do, if you cant, there are other options!!

You could set yourself a physical challenge, organise a fundraiser, or set yourself a goal that suits your interests and strengths! It could be to run a certain distance everyday for November, to read as many books as possible in November, it's entirely up to you!

Please keep an eye and ear out for more information of a "Gro a Mo day", everyone will be encouraged to wear a Mo for a day using face paint (not permanent marker!).

Ill even be shaving my beard *shudder* and waxing my Mo!

So have a think how you would like to get involved and lets get behind the MOvember cause!

Grow a Mo and save a Bro!!
