STEM Smart City Expo

On Friday 18th October Year 3-6 students hosted an exciting Smart City Expo, welcoming many family members and junior students despite the weather.

The atmosphere was buzzing with energy as students proudly showcased their projects, which featured automatic lights, spinning fans, and active security systems.  Students eagerly engaged with their visitors, answering questions and explaining their creations.

It was incredible to see how their projects evolved from simple sketches to beautifully decorated 3D models. Throughout the year, students have worked hard learning to code using micro:bits, building their structures with cardboard, and collaborating closely with their peers. Their teamwork, creativity, dedication, and problem-solving skills truly shone through in the final projects. They should all be so proud of what they have achieved!

The Smart City Expo is featured in this week's edition of the Dandenong Star, see below.
