The Inaugural TC Rumble Cup
During PCG the last two Tuesdays, the Year 7 PCGs have been involved in our first ever, Rumble Cup. This event was created by the Prefects of the Class of 2025, and executively lead by passionate prefect, Luke Chapman. The prefects were strongly supported by the 2025 Year 7 Senior Mentors and together they introduced and guided the Year 7s through the legendary TC Rumbles that have become so famous and such valuable traditions at Trinity. In the first week, the boys learnt and practiced their rumbles, all motivated by the Prefects and the Senior Mentors. Then, this Tuesday it was time to compete!
PCGs were paired up (7.1 and 7.2, 7.3 & 7.4, 7.5 & 7.6, 7.7 & 7.8) and each group took turns rumbling away for the judges. It was loud, it was passionate and it all about the TC spirit! The judges had a really tough decision on their hands, but it was finally decided that in terms of volume, knowledge of the chants and overall energy – the combined 7.5 and 7.6 PCGs, lead by Mr Kros and Miss Hunter took the trophy!
A huge thank you to Luke, the Prefects, the SMT and the amazing Year 7 PCG teachers for such a fun and spirited event that is sure to live in the memories of the Class of 2030 until they graduate.
Br Gerry Faulkner Award
For Young Writers and Illustrators
Congratulations to all our winners and participants in the Br Gerry Faulkner Award for Young Writers and Illustrators. This year's entries were judged by Ben Coleman (24') who was impressed with the high quality and creativity that went into every piece that was submitted. It was a pleasure to celebrate the collective creativity that we have across the college from year four right through to year twelve. Well done to all students involved! TC Parent Council - Call for Expressions of Interest
Financial, and Legal | Junior School Rep/s | General Member/s
The Trinity College Parent Council (TCPC) invites parents/guardians from all Year Levels to nominate for a position on the TCPC, as the group prepares for the Annual General Meeting later this Term.
As a number of positions will begin to become available over the next 12 months, the TCPC is seeking:
People with financial skills/experience;
People with legal skills/experience;
People within the Junior School; and,
General members.
The TCPC is governed by Terms of Reference. Membership is for a period of four years, and the committee meets twice per Term.
Get involved
Interested parties asked to submit a brief Expression of Interest (EOI), telling the TCPC a little bit about yourself, why you are interested in being involved, and any skills, talents or ideas you could bring to the group.
Please email your EOI to tcparentcouncil@gmail.com by 5.00pm, Tuesday, 2 September.
The TCPC hopes to welcome new members at the Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, 9 September (5.30pm).
About the TCPC
The TCPC comprises of a group of parents who meet on a regular basis to provide support and advice to the College Leadership Team, especially related to areas of parental support. Involvement on the TCPC also supports College activities, programs and events, with the view of enhancing the community experience at the College and, ultimately, contributing to their son's education.
The TCPC, in collaboration with the College, also help manage various social events for the College community, including the annual Parent Ball, Welcome Sundowner, guest speaker events, and more. Over the last few years, the TCPC has also contributed towards initiatives such as the annual Tuition Fee Lottery, new mattresses for Camp Kelly, installation of chilled water fountains, support for the Junior School Literacy Program, and financial support towards our TC Wellbeing Dog, Teddy!
Photo Catch-Up Day - Monday, 25 August
A photo catch-up day is scheduled for Monday, 25 August (week 3.6) with the Photo Hendriks team. On this day, students who missed out on having their individual portraits taken during week 3.3 will have an opportunity to have it taken then. Additionally, some sporting, music and specialty groups will be scheduled to have a their group photo taken that day. More information will be sent to families next week about the schedule.

Enrolments
As we move forward in finalising placements for Years 4, 6, and 7 for 2027. We want to remind our current families with younger siblings who are yet to enrol to take action as soon as possible. Securing a spot for your child early is essential to avoid any potential disappointment, as spaces are limited and in high demand. We encourage you to reach out and complete the initial application online, ensuring that your family continues to be part of our vibrant school community. Your child's educational journey is important to us, and we look forward to welcoming them!
Enrolment Fees
In seeking to fulfil a ‘Spirit of Stewardship’ in effectively managing school resources, the College continually examines all aspects of fees, funding, charges and expenses. In such a large school this is an ongoing challenge. As part of this ongoing analysis, comparisons to like schools are also considered. After many years of no adjustment, the College has decided to adjust the Enrolment Fees for incoming students.
The Enrolment Fees for students where the fee is paid on or after 1 January 2026 will change as follows:
From 1 January 2026 the Enrolment Fee will increase to $3,000. This will include TOBA Membership. For students currently at the College and those who have paid the Enrolment Fee prior to 1 January 2026, the TOBA Membership fee has been and will continue to be charged in Year 12.
There will no longer be a sibling discount applied to the Enrolment Fee, i.e. the Enrolment Fee for all students (including siblings) will be $3,000.
As previously stated, the College is making these adjustments subsequent to a comparison with other similar schools and after consideration of the impact on parents. It should be noted that the College’s Enrolment Fees for a first child enrolled, and siblings is considerably lower than most PSA schools.
Parents of children currently at the College who want to pay the current Enrolment Fee for siblings at the current fee (for siblings) of $1,315 will need to complete the enrolment form and pay the required fee before the end of this year. Parents wanting to do this should email the College’s Registrar registrar@ trinity.wa.edu.au requesting the Enrolment Form.
The offer of enrolling siblings in this manner is subject to a successful interview process after payment of the Enrolment Fee. As such, the College reserves the right to reject the application and refund the fee should it be considered that the student is best not enrolled at the College.

Working to Ensure Menstrual Equity for All
This term the Wellbeing Committee is promoting a Share the Dignity Drive. To address period poverty, we are asking that we work together to make a real, on-the-ground difference to the lives of women, girls and those who menstruate or suffer incontinence, who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness, domestic violence, or poverty.
