OH&S Meetings

The OH&S Committee meets twice per term. The composition includes the elected HSR and Deputy HSR, representatives from each sub-school, a rep from Admin/Therapy, the Principal, Assistant Principals and the OH&S Manager Nominee.

Purpose of Mandatory Workplace Inspections

Quarterly inspections (once per term) are required in all Victorian government schools.
Purpose is to identify and manage hazards proactively.
Helps reduce the risk of incidents and injuries.
Aligns with the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 (Vic).
Ensures principals, staff, and the Department share responsibility for a safe workplace.
Encourages collaboration between principals, staff, and Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs).
Supports open communication and joint action on inspection outcomes.
Enables continuous improvement across the school system.
Please take 20 minutes today to complete your inspection report. Your efforts in this important area are greatly appreciated.
