Pulse 2026

We were proud to attend the opening of The West Australian Pulse 2026, celebrating four Applecross Senior High School alumni whose artworks have been selected for exhibition at the Art Gallery of Western Australia.

Congratulations to Joanne Goh, Ace Khaled, Mollie Lantu and Zoe Ong on this wonderful achievement. Pulse showcases the work of outstanding young artists from across Western Australia, and it is fantastic to see our Applecross alumni continuing to shine in the Arts beyond school.

The West Australian Pulse 2026 celebrates its 34th year and features 63 works by 2025 Year 12 Visual Arts graduates from 43 schools across Western Australia. The exhibition opening address was delivered by renowned international artist Abdul-Rahman Abdullah, who reflected on his own formative experiences as an Applecross SHS Arts alumnus.

Students and families are encouraged to visit the exhibition and support these incredible emerging artists.

Studio Arts Video

We are excited to share our Studio Arts Showcase Video, highlighting the creative work taking place across our Years 10–12 Studio Arts courses. 

The video provides a glimpse into the range of projects, behind-the-scenes processes, studio art practice, media production, design development and practical learning experiences students engage with in senior school. It is a wonderful celebration of the creativity, skill and dedication of our students, and showcases the diverse opportunities available through Studio Arts pathways.

GATE Open Day

Our first Gate Open Studio day for the year is near, and families are welcome to visit.
