String Group at Sydney Eisteddfod 2026

Congratulations to our String Group ensemble for their performance at the Sydney Eisteddfod - Primary School Premium Strings event this week. The String Group, supported by a few of our Intermediate Strings musicians, presented an amazing set at the Eisteddfod. 

String Group presented Symphony No. 4, composed by William Boyce (arrangement by Eliot Del Borgo) and Stormbird, composed by Keith Sharp. The event adjudicator and audience members remarked on the quality of their sound. 

Our sincere appreciation to the ensemble director, Ms Skala, on guiding the String Group and sharing a love of music. The ensemble will now turn to some even more advanced pieces. 

Thank you as always to the parents/carers and the instrument tutors for their support and teaching. In addition, we would like to thank Ms Ko for program coordination and Mr Matthews for his ongoing support.
