Grade Five / Six

The students have been doing an incredible job of leading the school in so many wonderful ways. They lead through example with high standards for the uniform, positive play in the yard and appropriate interactions with one another.  

CRAZY SOCK DAY  

It was wonderful to see so many different coloured socks on Thursday. Thank you for the donations which make such a difference in the lives of people in need during this winter time. 

YEAR 5 AND PREP BUDDY MASS

On Friday the 19th of June, Year 5 and Foundation students will enjoy Mass together commencing in St Liborius Church at 9:15am. Please join us to celebrate together.  

WINTER UNIFORM

Just a reminder that we are now wearing full winter uniform. If you need any assistance with purchasing items of uniform please do get in touch with us.

HOMEWORK AND READING

This week we resume homework for the term. Students will have a Spelling and Maths homework sheet to complete. As with Term One, it is handed out on Monday and the expectation is that they will complete and hand it in by Friday the same week. If your child has any reasons for not being able to complete their homework (we understand that life is busy) please don’t hesitate to let us know. 

Reading is a nightly expectation as we continue to develop their love of reading for pleasure. Please remind them to read each evening, whether with yourselves or as a nice way to slow down at the end of the day before going to sleep.
