BEE BOT CITY NEARLY COMPLETED!!!
Year 1
Year 2/3
Hi Families,
It is hard to believe we are in week 8. We have begun constructing our Bee-bot dance floors and tracks which are projects we are working on this Term for Inquiry. The children are working in groups to design and co-create these themed designs and it is wonderful to see how independent they are, enjoy the photos and the weekend ahead. Buzzzz Buzzzz
Year 3/4
Beebots
This week the students in Year 3/4 were set the challenge to challenge the Beebot. So students are making obstacle courses, race tracks and dances with specific dance moves. There is a lot of fun happening but also the students are problem solving how to include a hill in the race track, how to make a bridge or tunnel for the beebot to go under. I can't wait to see what the end results will be.
Year 4/ 5
Year 5/6
The grade 5/6 students this week continued with their bee bot exploration in pairs or groups, creating and designing a course/pathway for the bee bots to follow.
It was sensational to see students so engaged and working so well together to achieve their planned goals. In the next week they are going to be able to film their pathway and explain how they came up with it! Below are some example designs of what students have made.
