Netball

With the Term 4 netball finishing strongly this week our College teams have done a great job.

College Sapphires

Our College Sapphires went head-to-head with an unfortunate 3-point loss to Gray Street Gold, with the end score being 19 to 16. Each and every player played with determination and didn’t give up, keeping the score to 3 points. Their teamwork down the court was very encouraging and they finished the game with their heads held high.

College Rubies

The girls went up against Gray Street Navy with a disappointing loss of 9 to 3. The girls all played really well together with Eloise getting heaps of intercepts at the defensive end. Daisy and Deani also were key players throughout the midcourt who made an impact and were very encouraging towards one another.

College Mavericks

The College Mavericks went up against Monivae Navy with an unfortunate loss of 35 to 18. Although this was how the game ended, the girls still came out with great fight, with Grace O’Sullivan, our fill in for the day, taking many incredible intercepts and being a key asset across the court, always being a backup and chasing the loose balls. Another key player was Elodie Cochran, who had great holds in the ring and stuck tight to her player.

College Vixens

Our College Vixens played against Monivae Orange. It was a great win from the girls, 30 to 20, and each player put in a strong game and were encouraging on and off the court. A key player in the Vixens line up was Saskia Gould, who used her height all down the court, with her arms flying and getting tips on every ball.

College Thunderbirds

Unfortunately, there was no game played as Baimbridge forfeited.

From both Netball Captains, we thank everyone who has pitched in and helped out this Term 4 netball, especially our incredible umpires, coaches and managers.  Also, our parents, who each and every week drop their kids off and support them. Most importantly, thanks to all our dedicated College players who put all their time and effort into playing netball and showing up every week.

Thank you to Mrs Ogle who has made it possible for all our College teams to play this term, this hard work and commitment every week doesn’t go unnoticed.
