Community Events

We’re excited to announce that Buninyong is getting its very own parkrun, launching this Saturday, November 22nd. This free, weekly, 5km community event is open to everyone—walkers, joggers, runners, pram-pushers, and volunteers alike. 

The event will be held at De Soza Park with the pre-run briefing starting at 7.50am and the event itself starting at 8am. We will be meeting at the stage, which is close to the start line  

We’d love to see Buninyong Primary School families join in the fun. It’s a wonderful way for parents and children to get active together, enjoy our beautiful community, and start the weekend with a smile. No experience needed—just bring your energy and enthusiasm! In exciting news, the Western Bulldogs are in Ballarat for their AFL Community Camp in  early December.

On Tuesday 2nd December we have a wonderful opportunity for junior participants (5-12 years of age) to attend a ‘Come & Play’ Super Clinic at Mars Stadium, Ballarat from 4:30pm to 5:30pm.

Western Bulldogs players will be in attendance which includes an autograph signing session.
