G5 Mini Exhibition

On Thursday afternoon and Friday this week, the Grade 5 students completed their How We Express Ourselves unit of inquiry by hosting an Art gallery. For the last few weeks, students have been researching a particular art form that they are interested in. They then needed to make an artwork that reflected their own beliefs, perspectives and ideas. Students also needed to complete a poem and a booklet displaying their research into the history of the artwork; a timeline, a famous artist and answers to their own wonderings about the art style. 

It was so wonderful to see how proud our creative Grade 5’s were of their work and how knowledgeable they have become about their chosen art form. Thank you to the classes and Grade 5 families that were able to come and support our fabulous students.
