Victorian College Basketball

On Tuesday 21 May, a group of Year 7 and 8 Girls played in the Victorian College Basketball Tournament in Werribee against other top players from surrounding schools. The girls played four games.

They defeated The Grange P-12 (16-14 points) and Copperfield College (27-6 points) and were defeated by Christian College- Geelong (10-28 points) and Iona College (23-20 points).

Despite the mixed results, Aitken College finished in second place in our pool. This close finish meant they narrowly missed out on advancing to the finals. They worked hard, supported each other and played with a lot of spirit.

We are looking forward to seeing them compete again next year. Well done, girls.

Primary Divison Cross Country

On Wednesday 5 June, 17 primary students from Aitken College took part in the Woodlands Division Cross Country at Kilmore Racing Club. They ran against students from other schools in the area and did a fantastic job. Their hard work and team spirit were clear to see. All students who participated should be very proud of themselves.

Aitken College congratulates the following students for progressing through to the Northern Metropolitan Region on 19 June.
