Alcoa will be launching our 2025 Apprenticeship Program recruitment campaign on Tuesday 18 June 2024, aimed at providing secondary students, who have completed a minimum of year 10, an opportunity to develop a diverse range of skills through our four-year structured practical and theoretical program that will lead to a nationally recognised trade certificate. 

We have 27 positions available across our WA Bauxite Mining and Alumina Refining operations that will commence early January 2025 across the following trade categories: 

• Mechanical Fitter
• Light Vehicle Mechanic
• Fabricator / Welder
• Heavy Duty Plant Mechanic
• Industrial Electrical Instrumentation Technician

Our Apprenticeship program is aimed at delivering first-class training including hands on experience that take place in a dynamic, heavy-duty environment, providing apprentices a competitive edge in the job market.

Alcoa will welcome applications for the 2025 Apprenticeship Program from Tuesday 18 June until Wednesday 17 July 2024. 

Please note that for their application to be considered it is compulsory for them to include an electronic scan of their most recent school report (including teacher comments).
