A short week this week but still a hive of activity around the school and farm. We were fortunate that there was no damage from the storm which came through on the long weekend and brought us more soaking rains. A bit of tidying around the place but all intact.

Interviews are continuing apace with prospective students and their parents. It is great to meet such wonderful young people with a passion and desire to seek a career in Agriculture and related trades.

On Wednesday night we had Brodie Mack from YouthFocus come and talk with all the boys about Mental Health and how to look after themselves and their mates if they are feeling low or in the “orange” or “red” zone. He also taught them the ancient art of shadow boxing which was an amusing and engaging activity. As was the rock, scissors, paper championship that showed the boys how to be there for a mate.

As we rapidly come to the end of term Country Week teams have been settled on and all arrangements are in place and ready to go for what should prove to be an exciting and rewarding week in Perth. Good luck to everyone and hope the training sessions are going well.
