Head of Students News

Mr Peter Serone

2024 House Cup

As part of our Champagnat Day celebrations last week, the grand final of the Rush Theatre Sports was contested by Harold and Ephrem Houses.  All students gave their best and Ephrem House came away with the win.  Teams from each House also competed in the Foley Tug-o-War competition.  Again, Ephrem and Harold Houses both made it to the Grand Final, with Harold taking out first place.  Thank you to Scott Minogue, Head of Rush House and Lucy Naughton Acting Head of Foley House for organising these events.

On Friday, all students 7-12 will participate in the Interhouse Athletics Carnival. This is one of two annual House events in which double points are given.  Points are awarded for participation – the more students participating, the more points for your House. With only two points separating Ignatius and Harold, attendance and participation at the Athletics Carnival can make a difference.
