Student Contact

A reminder to parents/carers, if you need to contact your child during the school day you must call the office 67361200. 

We need parental support to enforce the NSW DOE mobile ban policy. Students, after you unlock your pouch at 3pm put it straight back in your school bag. This will ensure you do not lose it or leave it at home. A $25 fee is payable to replace your pouch if your pouch is damaged or lost.

 

Attendance & Absences

Parents & carers are required to explain all whole day absence from school within 7 days of the first day of the absence period. To explain the absence you can

  1. Complete the absence note on the Sentral Parent Portal App
  2. Email the school tenterfiel-h.school@det.nsw.edu.au
  3. Drop in a signed note to the office detailing dates & reasons. 
  4. Call the office 6736 1200
  • If a student is absent for 2 or more consecutive days, the school requires a medical certificate.
  • If a student arrives late to school, they should present a note to the office explaining the lateness & sign in at the kiosk.
  • Permission to leave the school grounds during school must be requested by a signed note to the office by 8:45am for a leave pass to be given. Alternatively, a phone call or an email from Parent/carer to request a leave pass is acceptable.
  • Once a leave pass is provided, prior to leaving the premises the student must sign out at the kiosk at the office. Wherever possible, appointments should be made outside of school hours

Uniform

Now the colder weather is upon us, can we remind all students of the uniform expectation. Unacceptable items include any jumper, hoody or shirt that is not THS branded. Tights & jeans are not to be worn, navy canterbury pants must contain the small logo only, not a large logo down the side of the leg.

All uniform items can be purchased from the canteen & eftpos is now available.

 

Lost & Found

Student's, please check with the office as there are a large number of items that have not been collected in the lost property. 

 

Please ensure you have all your belongings labelled so they can be returned to you if lost.

Canteen

If you have not yet registered for the Student Pay+ canteen app on the Sentral Parent Portal, follow these simple steps.

 

All canteen menu items can be purchased online & app exclusive meal deals change weekly. Students who pre-order skip the canteen queue as their recess or lunch is ready for collection from the canteen. 

 

The loaded spud of the week has proven, so Kim made them available on Thursday & Friday.
