Prayer

Each Monday and Friday at assembly we pray our school prayer together as a whole school community. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, the children will pray in their classrooms. This allows the students to be exposed to different types and styles of both formal and informal prayer. It also gives an opportunity for classes to say prayers that are relevant to the Religious Education units that they are studying in class. By being able to make these connections, the prayer experience becomes more meaningful for the children.  

Homelessness

Tonight, Sydney Catholic Schools Director of Mission & Identity, Anthony Cleary, will be participating in the annual CEO Winter Sleepout organised by Vinnies. This event specifically raises money for those who are homeless. Anthony is representing the 147 schools in our system. We wish Anthony all the best and thank him for his willingness to take part in a great cause, not just to raise money, but to raise awareness about the issue of homelessness. Our SPBL focus for the last week 2 weeks of school is: Going to Church

Term 3 Staff Development Day Reminder

A reminder that the following days have been set aside as Staff Development Days for Term 3:

Monday 22nd July and Monday 5th August.

There will be no school for students on these days as staff will be off site completing professional development.
