Navigating Assessment and Reporting.

As we stride into another academic term, it's crucial to acknowledge the importance of assessment and reporting in shaping the educational journey of our secondary students from Year 7 to 12. At St. Peter's College,  every assessment provides a stepping stone towards greater understanding and growth.

Assessment: The Path to Progress

Assessment is not merely a means to measure learning; it's a pathway for students to understand their strengths, identify areas for improvement, and chart their progress. From class assignments to exams, each assessment serves as a valuable checkpoint in our students' academic journey, guiding them towards excellence.

Reporting: Communicating Growth and Development

Effective reporting is the bridge that connects students, parents, and teachers in the pursuit of academic excellence. Our St. Peter's College reporting system is designed to provide comprehensive insights into students' achievements, areas for improvement, and the support they need to thrive. Through clear and constructive feedback, we empower our students to take ownership of their learning journey.

Interim Reports: Interim Reports: Summative Assessment in Term 1

At least one Summative Assessment task will be available on SPACE for all subjects in Years 7 -12 by March 25th. This is the first formal assessment of the year which includes written feedback and student academic progression through a rubric.

Celebrating Achievements, Embracing Growth

At St. Peter's College, we celebrate not only the achievements but also the journey of growth and development. Every success, no matter how big or small, reflects the dedication and perseverance of our students. Through a culture of continuous development through our Annual Improvement Plan, we inspire our students to aim higher, dream bigger, and unlock their fullest potential.

Student achievements:

As we embark on this journey of learning and discovery, let us remember that assessment and reporting are not just processes; they are opportunities for students to shine, learn, and grow. Together, let's unlock success and empower the children in our care to achieve the best that they can be while doing justice, loving kindness and walking humbly.
