Project Compassion - For All Future Generations

Spanning across the six weeks of Lent each year, Project Compassion brings thousands of Australian schools, parishes and supporters together to raise funds for people living in some of the most vulnerable communities across the world.

It is a long standing tradition at St James as one of our Social Justice initiatives during the year, to support Project Compassion. During Lent we are asked to commit to fasting, prayer and almsgiving. We encourage families to make their own Lenten promises as we journey through this time together.

Sacrament of Reconciliation

We look forward to welcoming Year 3 families to our Reflection Evening on Tuesday 12th March,  5:30pm - 6:30pm to be held in the Year 3 classroom. This is an opportunity for students and parents to come together and explore the meaning behind the sacrament of Reconciliation.  An Operoo will be sent out for further information.

Please do not hesitate to contact either myself or your classroom teacher if you have any questions regarding the sacrament.
