The F/1 Students are all settling in extremely well and are beginning to make new friends with their classmates. This week's Art activity with Mrs Coughlin was a huge hit with everyone.
Thursday afternoons are is our 'Busy Buddy' time and a chance for the Grade 6 buddies to model classroom expectations. This week was an activity about following instructions.
And, Mrs Mac is loving her Wednesdays with the Grade 1 students while the Foundation students have a well-earned rest.

Grade 2
We have had another another great week in Grade 2!
In Maths we have been completing different assessments tasks. Students have shown great resilience and responsibility when completing these tasks. They should be very proud of their efforts!
In Inquiry this week we have delved deeper into our community topic. We explored all the wonderful businesses in Tongala and the impact and importance they have in our community. Students spent time working together to brainstorm questions that they could ask a local business. We were very lucky to have Jordan and Paige from GTS come into our class. All students were very excited to ask their questions and to learn more about your business. Thank you Jordan and Paige for the taking time to come and answer our questions!
We are all very excited for swimming next week! If you are able to help with walking down to the pool, please let myself or the office know. Please make sure your child has a hat and all clothes are labelled.
