Uniform orders are filled on Wednesdays.

Completed order forms need to be at the school office by Tuesday for orders to be filled and delivered to your child by Wednesday.

ONLINE LUNCH ORDERING

Lunch orders are available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

The online ordering process is up and running.

Please log in to QKR and follow the steps.

Lunch orders are all on line. Orders must be placed by 8:30 a.m.

THE JAPANESE WORD OF THE FORTNIGHT

いいです(pronounced ‘iides’) which means ‘good!’ is the Japanese Word for Week 5 and 6 of Term 1. You can simply use ‘いいです’ (‘iides’) instead of ‘good’ when you see or hear something good in the classroom and out in the yard. You can also use ‘いいです’ (‘iides’) when you are feeling good.

ICY POLE THURSDAYS

If you would like to order an icy pole please bring $1 and give it to your teacher first thing in the morning. You will receive your icy pole at lunch time.

CAMPS, SPORTS &EXCURSION FUND

DO YOU HAVE A HEALTH CARE CARD?

If you are new to Valkstone Primary School (or an existing family with a new sibling starting at Valkstone ) and you are the holder of a Health Care Card, you may be eligible for CSEF.

This is an annual payment, payable to the school to be used towards camps, sports or excursion costs for eligible students.

Card holders with NEW prep students are also eligible for some school uniform. Please bring your Health care card to the office and complete an eligibility form.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES

In keeping with Department of Education guidelines, we are no longer able to provide plastic forks or spoons to children who need them for their lunch.

Please ensure that your child brings a bamboo fork or spoon from home should they require one to eat their lunch.
