What a fabulous start we've had to the year, this term in RRRR. The students have been engaging in lots of Emotional Literacy activities and learning about the Zones of Regulation and how we can navigate all our wonderful feelings.
We have looked at how we can communicate our feelings through our bodies, voices, pictures, stories and AAC. Students have enjoyed songs and also learned about regulation tools and mindfulness to help us get back into the green zone.
Earlier in the term we had the Social Safety workshop for parents and carers with Sexual Health Victoria. It was a fantastic turnout and the feedback has been very positive. Thank you to everyone who came along!
I am very excited about what next term will bring with our new drop-in parent and carer space, THE NEST. Make sure you mark your calendars every fortnight starting in week 1 (odd weeks) from 2pm - 3pm in the resource library. No need to RSVP - just come along and enjoy some conversations, sharing and learning around respectful relationships and sexuality education.
Wishing you all a relaxing Easter break and I look forward to working with you next term.
