School Wide Positive Behaviour Support

It has been a great term of learning and engagement, with the school-wide focus of positive behaviour support helping students know how to show the values of our school. 

When we use the Monty Money token reward system, we like to focus on highlighting what the student did to earn the token and the reward. 

When giving Monty Money tokens, we use positive praise and link the praise to the values of our school: safety, learning, and respect. 

A valuable way to help students learn these values and behaviours is for them to hear them in both the school and home environments. So at home and at school, let's try 'catch our students being good', and highlight how they have been safe, respectful, and learners consistently throughout their day.
