Book Review
Hollow Fires
By Samira Ahmed
Samira Ahmed's gripping novel is about Safiya, a Muslim American teenager and journalist who is seeking the truth around the death of Jawad Ali, a boy killed because of hate-based beliefs.
I chose this book because of its themes: racism, truth and hope. I have been going through a tough time and wanted to read a book that help me to overcome my own personal challenges.
