Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday

Thank you to all the children, parents and educators who joined us for Ash Wednesday Mass, led by Father Gerald, to mark the beginning of Lent with reverence and togetherness. A big thank you to our amazing Social Justice Leaders; Audrey, Ruby, Winson and Wren for their kindness in serving pancakes to our children to acknowledge Shrove Tuesday and a huge thanks to two wonderful parents helpers Ermina and Kylie.

This term, the social justice leaders are promoting Project Compassion.

Project Compassion brings together supporters from across Australia to address the challenges of poverty today, and drive lasting change for a better tomorrow.

If you can spare any coins, each hub will be collecting donations from now until the end of the term.

Lenten Prayer

Dear God,

As we begin this season of Lent,

Help us to grow in love and kindness,

To be like Jesus in all we do,

And to follow His path with gladness.

Teach us to share and to forgive,

To help those who are in need,

And to be thankful for all we have,

In word, in thought, and in deed.

Guide us through this time of reflection,

As we journey towards Easter day,

Fill our hearts with joy and compassion,

And show us the true and righteous way.

Sacrament of Reconciliation 2024

Holy Family Parish would like to welcome our 2024 Reconciliation participants to attend a Commitment Mass to present our candidates to the Parish.  This will take place on Sunday 3rd March at 10am at Our Lady's Church, Maidstone.
