VCE Information Evening

Last Wednesday, we hosted our VCE Information Evening - How to Survive and Thrive during VCE. A highlight of the evening was the inspiring talk by Jasmine Mackey, a 2023 graduate and alumna of our school. Jasmine graciously shared her personal experiences during the VCE journey and the strategies that helped her not only survive but thrive during her Year 12. We were also fortunate to hear from Mrs Jennica Kelada, our Counselling Coordinator, who offered practical strategies for supporting students and resources specifically tailored for parents. Mrs Geetha Nair, our VCE coordinator, also shared essential updates about the VCE program at GNLC. Mrs Naomi Nolan, our Pathways Coordinator, also delivered comprehensive information on the tertiary application process.

The success of the evening was not only evident in the wealth of information shared, but also in the strong turnout and engagement from our parent community. Many stayed behind to ask questions and seek additional information from our dedicated VCE teachers. If you were not able to attend, or if you wanted additional information from the evening, please see the attached PowerPoint slides and the 2024 VCE Handbook.

We extend our gratitude once again to everyone who attended. As our students embark on their VCE journey, we look forward to continuing this collaborative effort for their success.
