Sport

Welcome back to Sport in 2025
My name is Mitch Clark and along with Meg Hubbard, we are the Physical Education teachers in 2025. We are very excited for another big year ahead in sport at Rangeview! Here are some of the key events in the first few months of the year.
Rangeview Level 4-6 House Swimming Carnival
Aquanation, Ringwood was the venue for our Level 4-6 House Swimming Carnival this year, and what an incredible day it was! With over 330 students in attendance, the event was highly competitive, exciting, and full of fun. We were so impressed with the effort, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm displayed by all students.
The day featured 50m Freestyle, Backstroke, and Breaststroke races, as well as 25m Freestyle and Backstroke events. The day concluded with our medley relay between our fastest swimmers from each house, which was neck and neck until the final few metres (Congratulations to Team Arbor who won the relay – Chloe L, Ollie C, Amanda X & Joel F.) Students also enjoyed a range of novelty events, adding to the fantastic atmosphere. The waterslide was a definite highlight, and it was great to see so many students getting involved.
After a thrilling day of competition, Arbor emerged as the 2025 House Swimming champions! Congratulations to the Arbor team and their House Captains Collette & Leo for an outstanding performance. Several school records were broken throughout the day, showcasing the incredible talent within our school.
