Art

Well as usual, we have hit the ground running in the Art room. We have been busy sorting through Visual art diaries and art smocks from previous years. Just a reminder to all parents to send along to school a named Art smock with the current grade also visible on the label. Thank you to those families who have already done this.

It has also been an exciting reveal of our 2025 production for Level 5 and 6 students, and we are looking forward to making a start on auditions and rehearsals.

We have two fabulous Art Captains this year, and I am very proud to introduce them.

Art Captains 2025

Hi, my name is Bridie, and I am one of the art captains for 2025! I love art and some of my other interests are dance, gymnastics and drawing. My favourite animals are dogs and ducks. I am 11 years old, and I have 2 older siblings and I’ve been at Rangeview for a full 2 years now. Ever since I first saw the photos of the art captains on the window, I knew that was what I wanted once I grew up to be in year 6 and now I’m here!

Hi, my name is Theodora and I am one of your art captains for 2025! I am 11 years old and this is my 7th year at Rangeview and I have loved all the amazing things that have come and I hope that as your art captain, I can bring the same joy! I was thrilled to hear that I was the art captain, even though it wasn’t one of my preferences, because art is enjoyable, fun and creative and I think it’s a great opportunity to participate in a fun and engaging activity! I hope being a leader in art this year will make my 2025, one of the best years I’ve had in primary school!
