HOUSEKEEPING MATTERS

Lesson fee revision for 2025

Due to rising costs of running our school - rent, teachers' pay, franchise fees and related costs associated with the running of our school, we will need to put in place a small increase (mostly between $1.00 to $2.50 per lesson) in the tuition fees is for the various courses as well as private and shared private lessons effective 1 January 2025.  Rest assured, we have considered and are mindful of the ongoing cost of living pressures we all face. Hence, we kept the increase to the minimal level to enable us to continue to deliver quality music lessons at Forte, supported by a dynamic music education system and a team of dedicated Forte-trained teachers.

Our mission has always been to provide a holistic and fun approach to music education, recognising the needs of the individual student and the importance of an enjoyable as well as  nurturing environment.

We believe in nurturing a lifelong love for music and hope to see more of our students blossom into passionate and capable musicians.

Ms Jacinta's absence in Term 1

As Ms Jacinta is away on a special University study tour to Europe in the later part of January, she will be in touch with relevant parents of students (those who attend individual lessons with her) to arrange a couple of advance lessons in January whose lessons are affected during weeks 1 to 4 in Term 1.  It is more than likely that she would need to give catch up lessons during the second half of Term 1 or into the next term break. Her scheduled Forte classes on Saturdays and Sundays are not affected as they will be covered by our other teachers in her absence.  The Thursday Piano Keys 2 class will be covered by Ms Pik.
