Year 1

Religion

Year 1students becoming confident prayer leaders and great role models during prayer.

We were fortunate to attend and end our school year participating at the end of the year Mass back in our beautiful Cathedral. 

English

Final spelling practice. Students spell tricky words, adding suffixes to the base (root) word as well as spelling multi-syllable words.

Year 1 completed their last Big Write as year one students with a Christmas theme and vibe.

Maths

Year 1 students played Maths games created by their classmates.

Awards

The following students received their Assistant Principal and Principal's certificates before the end of the year.

Blessed Christmas

Wishing all Year 1 family and friends a blessed Christmas and a fruitful New Year.

Year 2

Students decorated Santa hats in the leadup to the Christmas holidays.

Students create Nativity scenes.

Science & Technology - Students in Year 2 have been excited to learn about Living Things and explore how they change as they grow. Earlier this term we planted Dwarf Beans. It is time for out students to take them home and replant them as they are getting too big for their plastic cups.
