Parent Helper Reading Program

We are excited to invite parents to participate in our Parent Helper Program for this term!

Parents are welcome to join us in the classroom to support our literacy program in both English and Spanish. Volunteers will assist students with essential skills such as decoding letter sounds, blending those sounds to read, and practicing text comprehension by asking thoughtful questions. Your involvement makes a big difference in helping our students grow as confident readers and thinkers!

The program will begin on Monday of Week 3 (February 10th). Click on the cohort of your child/ren below, to fill out your Term 1 availability. Please complete the form by Wednesday February 5th to allow time for teachers to create a timetable for the term. A timetable for each class will be communicated via Sentral by the end of next week. 

Please note Foundation parent helpers will begin next term to give time for students to settle in
