Welcome Back to the New School Year from the SPC Parents and Friends Committee!
We are excited to welcome back the school community for another fantastic year! A special greeting to all of our new Year 5 students and parents/carers – we’re thrilled to have you join our school family, and we hope you have a wonderful experience as you settle into this next chapter.
The start of the term has been as busy as ever for the Parents and Friends (P&F) Committee. Last Thursday, we had the pleasure of welcoming the new Year 5 cohort with a delicious morning tea. We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the following people who helped make the event a success: Lina Bartorilla, Gabriella Costa, Lynette Trainor, Jaslyn Hewitt-Shehadie, Caroline Chahin, Gupta Madhavi, Haez Kim, Lucy Kassis, Claire Hassan, Leanne Piccin, Julie Pearson and Danielle Johnson, your efforts were truly appreciated!
A special shout-out goes to Gemma Donegan for her incredible homemade sweets, which added a lovely touch to the morning. We also want to thank Isaac Tannous, Antonio Matulic, and Gregory Smith for their support during the event. Your involvement is a testament to the amazing young men at our college, and we are grateful for your help.
Looking ahead, we have a busy year full of exciting events and opportunities to connect. Please be sure to keep an eye on our page for updates on upcoming activities. We are especially excited to announce that our annual Blue, Black, and Gold Dinner will be held on Friday 23 May – mark your calendars and save the date!
In addition to the dinner, be on the lookout for invitations to your Year Group functions. These are great opportunities to meet other parents/carers and build connections within our school community.

Finally, we’re excited to announce that our next P&F General Meeting will take place on Tuesday 18 March and will feature guest speakers Dr Vittoria Lavorato and Mr Adrian Byrne. This will be a great opportunity to hear about the HSC results 2024 along with the revised Student Management Policy, Student Goal setting and Home Background surveys via TrackOne.
We’re looking forward to a wonderful year ahead, and we can’t wait to see you all at our upcoming events!
